Kli Rishon
Question
Dear R' Abadi, If a fork or knife is used with food that was heated up in a micowave oven (and you keep the food in the same dish) do we consider that a Kli Rishon? If yes, then does that change what you said earlier about it being very uncommon? Thank You very much
Answer
Answered by Chaim Yisrael AbadiIt would still be considered kli sheni because it is still not the norm to eat ithe food so hot. Even if sometimes you do, that doesn't make the kli a kli rishon kli, in reference to Hagala. PS a kli rishon is the plate or pot that is hot and heats the food - in a microwave the food heats the plate (almost), the plate does not heat the food! CYA
