Warm Oven
Question
I have a setting on my gas oven called Warm, which is before all Temperature. May I keep this on, on shabbos and put fully cooked food in it to warm?
Answer
Answered by Aaron AbadiTest it on a weekday, and leave some food in for an hour or so. Take out the food and if the food is too hot to touch, then you might have a problem . The tempature that is too hot is 125 degrees F. If you have a food thermometer, then test the food, if it's less than 125, you can do it, because the oven cannot cook anything. Cooking under the laws of Shabbat is only above that tempature. AA
