koshering pots

Question

you mentioned that for sepharadim if the pot was used for taref then we need 24 hours to kosher it If you go to a hotel and they have pots in the room we assume they were used for taref. 1)if you know for sure that someone used it within 24 hours for taref can you put soap (making it lifgam) and kosher it or must you wait the 24 hours? 2)if you do not know if someone used the pots within 24 hours and we say they are stam keilim can we just use them or must they be koshered? b)If they must be koshered do you have to wait 24 hours or can you assume stam keli? Stam Keilim Ainum Beney Yomam. Any item that you don't know for certain that it was used for "real" Treif, is considered "aino Ben Yomom," and you can Kasher it instantly. If you know something was used for Treif, even though now it's Noten Taam Lifgam (gives a bad flavor) you should Kasher it, although it can be used on a temporary basis or Shaat Hadchak (urgent situation).
