Question

I saw an answer where you said that Kraft Philadelphia cream cheese is not kosher all year. Could you please explain which ingredient is the unkosher one Sincerely, Rabbi Fred (Yeshuah) E. Dweck

The cheese! Most Kashrut Organizations do not honor the laws of Gvinat Akum by soft cheeses. They base it on a Responsa by Rabbi Feinstein that they don't read completely. The Aruch Hashulchan very clearly states that it applies to soft cheeses. (Yoreh Deah #115 #16) AA
