lakewoodbus2

Question

1.would this psak be the same even though there are children and elderly people on the bus? 2.I have now heard that one rabbi actually said that they were allowed to continue untill lakewood because a bus is higher than 10 handbreaths off the bus and therefore the tchum rule seemingly does not apply. Is this true?(this rabbi WAS a talmud of the Rav!!) as always thanks for everything. martin p.s. thanks for clarifiying R' Chaim's middle name.

1) Sure 2) What about being driven on Shabbat? The whole town is so busy worrying about 72 minutes after sunset like Rabbeinu Tam's opinion, yet when it comes to this, they're blank. Can't think of what to do. There are hotels every two miles along the way. They'll provide food & board, and siddurim, and anything you ask for. Call the spouse, and tell them what happened, and go do the right thing. AA
