Lipstick follow up

Question

In my previous post, I wrote: "Kavod HaRav- I know it is not permissible to put on lipstick on shabbat because of Tzovaya (coloring), but if the lipstick is just a shine, with no color, and one does not smear it and instead just dabs it, is it permissible to apply it? Thank you." The Rav replied: "Yes." I was wondering if that includes dabbing it on from the stick, and then smearing is with my lips, like by pursing my lips together? Thank you.
