Medicine

Question

I've been reading medicines are OK for Passover. My question is: My daughter's doctor prescibed a medicine that could be crushed up and added to her food. I don't know if it has an added taste or not, but my guess is no. This is not a medicine, however, that she must take now. Should we wait until after Passover to start giving it to her, or is it OK to give tonight? Thank you
