milchig meals

are you allowed to eat milchig meals for shavous? where does it come from? and why do people do it?

The source to the custom is hard to confirm. There are multiple sources, but not for the way we just eat dairy today. If you can make a nice presentable meal for the Holidays that is dairy, it is OK. AA
