Question

Who makes your decisions for you? When it comes to Torah thought (Hashkafa) and Halacha, I check the sources (Mesilas Yesharim, Rabbanu Yona, Mishna Berura, etc). Since much is beyond my capability to understand I seek help, by asking a Rov. If that is called leaving your brain at the door ..... well then. The greatness of our nation IS the very fact that we haven't changed and that we follow the Torah given at Sinai. Men like Rav Shlomo Zalman or Rav Yitzchok Abadi, whom have spent their whole lives swimming the seas of Torah sure do weigh in alot for me. They should for you too.
