Is a mourner allowed to go to a movie? ...on a date? Must the other party make the suggestion? May a mourner watch a video if other people are gathered in the same room to watch?

Answered by Aaron AbadiDating is no problem. Movies and videos are not a problem of mourners, but a general issue. Watching nude scenes or even partial, or worse, is certainly a very serious sin. Which is even in PG movies. The place that is a problem for mourners is a meal with music. AA
