mylanta for Pessah

Is Mylanta ok for Passover use, even if it is in chewable tablets that taste like mint?

yes - medications do not need special kosher for Passover if it is taken for medicinal purposes. On the other hand if a person likes the taste and eats it as a food, then it would need to be kosher, or maybe that person would be exempt from Mitzvos and again it would be a non-issue.
