Citric Acid

Question

First I would like to thank you for all of your hard work. Chazak U Baruch. Regarding citric acid it seem that some brands are made with wheat. see www.wheat-free.org/c.html Does it matter the source of the citric acid for Pesach? If it does not matter that it came from wheat please explain why. Thank you Sam

www.celiac.com lists it as "gluten-free." I do not know the source of wheat-free.org's info, but I seriously doubt there's any wheat in it. Citric Acid comes from so many fruit sources, not wheat. AA
