Question

Coudn't someone say that you can turn on the oven before Yom Tov, so there shouldn't be any heter to turn it on once the holiday starts (the same argument you presented regarding electric lights?

Some ovens go off after a certain amount of time, and even if you left it on, you still need to use the controls to change the tempature up & down, or to turn it off when done. AA
