Question

AA, In Nadarim 9b there is a story of a kohen gadol (shimon hatzadik) who only ate from one nazir, because he felt that that nazir was a tzadik he had "kevuttzusev sedurus taltalim". r' chaim shmuelevit explains this to be payot. how does this explain 1. it comes from the eygptians? 2. that payot is something added? Does your father understand this gemera differently? if so why? please explain as well what is meant by dont subtract and dont add? Thank you. JP

It certainly was not Payot. Where is this written? If it was just repeated over in his name, ignore it! AA
