Pesah Dishes

Question

Why don't you regard separate Pesah dishes (glazed china etc.) as a minhag vatikin which should be continued, just like you do with regard to meat and milk dishes? At least in the Ashkenazic world, all families, including rabbis, have separate Pesah dishes. Doesn't this show that this is not simply a custom thought up by ignorant housewives?

You need more than that to create a qualified Minhag. There are rules for this. Aaron Abadi
