popcorn

Question

Rabbi, Would you know if the salt used to make popcorn in public places contains butter? I am concerned about buying popcorn after eating meat in case the salt that they use to make the popcorn (and which gaves it its yellowish color) contains butter or some kind of dairy derivative. Thank you for your help.
