post cold cereal on passover

Question

my brother girl friend went to visit her friend that is very orthodox and she had post cocoe and fruity pebbles cold cereal at her house. i understand that it is because it is made of rice, but what about the fact that it does not have ou P on it? Is it really OK to eat in passover???
