Question

Kavod HaRav: I saw your post stating that metamucil is Kasher l'pesach. 2 questions; 1. is it kasher because it's a medicine, and therefore the ingredients don't matter? 2. Where exactly does psylium husk come from? Thanks!

It's not a relative of wheat or Barley and it is not Chametz. It was only given to animals till recently. AA
