Question

You answered that it was a problem if a restuarant had a certification and it was open on Shabbat that it was a problem.. why ? why is Shabbat the "line" that is used as a judge for being accepted or not ? if the owner of a restuarant that is closed on Shabbat disrespects his parents or steals, is the place still "ok" ?

There is no one there to supervise on Shabbat. The owner is not an observant Jew and has ample opportunity to flood the place with Treif. If it was open on Shabbat, but the Rabbi was there, it would be fine. AA
