Sambuca

Question

I know that this has been asked before. I am sorry, I could not find it when I searched. Is Sambuca (di Romana? Black?) kosher? The only info I could find on the web was a bartenders website that described it as a grain alcohol product. I do not know if it is grain alcohol or if it is a brandy. I could not find out. Is Ouzo kosher? Again, I do not know if it is grain or brandy based. Thank you!!!! We can't seem to buy Askelon Arak here, which is the ideal.
