shabbat
Question
why is rav abadi so lenient with regards to hilchot shabbat. there are many rabbonim who become machmir with shabbat because of its status. for example washing your hair on shabbous, if you do come to pull out your hair or squeeze out the towel after you dry yourself, arent you chayav? please help me understand why its ok
Answer
Answered by Aaron AbadiRabbi Abadi is much stricter on Hilchot Shabbat. He follows the laws given by God. The others are OK with serious leniencies on De'Oraita, like carrying on Shabbat. No! You are not Chayav anything if you dry your hair. Strangely enough, men and women go to the Mikveh on Shabbat. What do they do? They stand around and air-dry? Those Rabbanim that are extra strict on Shabbat are too lenient in other more serious situations. How do I know that? It's testified to in the Gemara. Kol Hamosif Gore'a. AA
