Dear Rabbi, 1)Is there any problem with making tuna salad on Shabbat? 2)Does making instant oatmeal on Shabbat constitute the melacha of lash? What about mixing baby food? 3)Should one refrain from saying the pesukim of v'shamru in between hashkiveinu and kadddish on friday night because of hefsek? 4)Is it actually prohibited to sing Eshet Hayil on friday night? 5) You mentioned that it would be OK to open a fridge door even though a light comes on. Why isn't this a p'sik reshei?

1) OK 2) Do it with a Shinui (different than the usual) mix it by making X 's. 3) Follow the Minhag. 4) No problem 5) If electric light is Assur MiDerabanan. If you open it, you are not Mechaven and you are doing it Kilachar Yad. AA
