Question

Is uvda dchol a type of Maris Ayin? can you explain exactly what is considered Uvda dchol that would not permit one to be in a car on shabbos if he is not driving and is going to enhance his shabbos by going to synagogue? Is uvda dchol even without doing an action? How come running a dishwasher on shabbos is not uvda dchol?

The Gemara lists certain things as Uvdah Dechol. If anything you do on weekdays would fall into this category, we wouldn't be allowed to eat, either. AA
