Shatnes

Question

You got me thinking. What about Shatnes testing? I always thought that the prohibition was against weaving wool and linen together. Is it really necessary to send all of our clothing to the Shatnes lab to test for linen in the lining? My parents never sent their suits to the lab. Can you please clarify what a normal person is supposed to do when buying a new suit? Thank you !
