hi, is there a law or a custom on whether to eat meat or dairy on shavuot.we always eat dairy but now i heard someone say we should eat meat.thanks for sharing your time and knowledge. julie

The Custom to eat dairy is prior to & in addition to meat according to most sources. We tend to over-react to customs and under-react to pure law. It is not that big a deal. Honor the Holiday with a nice presentable, tasty, healthy meal of whatever. Aaron Abadi
