Question

If your eating in a home whose minhag is not to eat in the sukkah shemini aeret, what should the person do.

Try to get out of the invitation. If not possible, sit inside. It would be the same if you ate by someone, who was uncomfortable, to the point, that he was leaving the Sukkah. You, as the guest would have to follow suit. CYA
