Sheva Berachot

Question

Dear Rabbi Abadi, According to the Shulchan Aruch, it seems that in order to say the Sheva Berachot, the meal must be at the Chatan's house. From what I see in practice people do not seem to follow this requirement. What is your fathers opinion? Is one making a Bercha LeVatala by reading one of the Berachot if the meal is not at the grooms home? Thank you for all of your time and energy.

It is no problem. Take a look at the Aruch Hashulchan Siman 62 #36, to get a better understanding. CYA
