Shower on Shabbos

If you want people to take you seriously, you need to qualify and clarify. You need to say: If you want to take a shower on shabbos you MUST do one of the following: (a) turn off your hot water heater, which means it'll be a cold shower, or (b) Make certain, using a thermometer, or thermostat, but make certain! that the water in your heater is not being heated to a temparture that is above yad soledes bo (whether its 110 or 120 or 125) Firstly:Where is your derech eretz? Or are you exempt because you learned in Brisk? Secondly: "a) turn off your hot water heater, which means it'll be a cold shower"....Are you saying that because you turned off the hot water heater it automatically drop to below "yad soledes", even 15 minutes later? If not how long should one wait? Or perhaps you should clarify...as you are so adept at doing! GET OFF THE WEBSITE, YOU CREEP! Still... LYA Secondly:

Answered by Chaim Yisrael AbadiMotty, I think we are better off letting him come on the website. As you are well aware, there are many kids out there who are turned off by people like him. The fact remains that he is the rotten apple in the tree and people should not judge Judaism or this site, based on the actions of these arrogant, haughty....people. It is important that we answer him to the point and not attack him, so that he remains the arrogant one and we remain the examples of what Judaism is supposed to be. You have to give him the benefit of the doubt, that maybe he grew up in the system and never learned how to speak like a mentsch and then he can't be blamed. He is just another failure of the Yeshiva system. (Ever see those guys who take out a sefer from the bookcase in shul and then when done with it, put it down on the nearest chair. Where did they come from???) He will at some time give up and go bother someone else who takes him serious. Of course if he passes the line of Kavod Hatorah in reference to my father, then we will have to deal with him differently. I happen to enjoy people who speak this way, because their attitude usually causes them to make embarrassing mistakes, as you have pointed out so well. CYA
