soda cans

Question

If someone elses posek holds that he cannot open soda cans on shabbos, can i open it for him? Do I need to take a sip?(this sounds to me as just playing games because i'm really opening it for him)Does it make a difference if the halacha in argument is a deoraaysa or a derabanan? Thank you.
