Tankless Hot water heater

Can one use a tankless hot water heater on shabbat if it is set below 125 degrees?

There are two types. One goes on right away when you turn on the faucet and get water. The other goes on and off based on a thermostat. The first type is not good. The second type is no different than a regular hot water heater or a fridge, for that matter. CYA
