Why can't I poor a kosher drink in a clean glass that does not belong to me if it was not toveled?... Isn't tevilah something that has to do EXCLUSIVELY with ba'aluth (see Ovadya Yosef's Halkhoth in Chazon Ovadya)? Most kosher restaurants DO NOT tovel their glasses and silverware... Would that be a problem too?... why?... Thanks

Answered by Chaim Yisrael AbadiA Jew cannot use a utensil that was supposed to be toyveled. If it was owned by a Gentile or rented from a gentile (restaurant shtick) then it did not need to be toyveled, hence a Jew can use it. CYA
