Thanksgiving
Question
Is it wrong to have a thanksgiving dinner b/c of chukas hagoyim? even so, is it also assur to have a family get together bcuase eveyone is off from work that day?

Answered by Aaron AbadiOption #2 is fine. Option #1 is a problem. Rav Moshe has a Teshuva on it, but we certainly shouldn't be celebrating holidays together with "them." History should keep us in check. AA
