tinok shenishba--practical application

One of the most practical applications of whether one is considered a tinuk shenishba today is in reference to what the Chazon Ish wrote in the name of the Chofetz Chaim- "are we allowed to have "sinah" for a Rasha or an Apikorus today?" Normally we would say yes, but if considered a tinuk shenishba then it would be assur. P.S. Reb AA thanx for the sources- you were right that i didn't look it up at the time i sent the post but was quoting from memory. i gratefully accept your Tochccha- you do know how to scold{with kindness and humor)
