tomato products
Question
Dear R. Abadi, The London Beth Din, and you, permit canned tomato products, such as whole, stewed, sauce, and juice, etc. However, now I live in Los Angeles, the community is horrified by such a prospect, insisting that these products could have been cooked on the same keilim as tomato sauce with meat, or clams etc. Are they correct? And if they are correct, please explain how these products are now kosher. ( I cannot imagine this issue is unknown to you or the LBD!!!!!!) Once again, thanks for all.

Answered by Aaron AbadiMany of the Rabbis of the Los Angeles community are former students of my father. I'm certain that once you tell them that it came from my father, they will accept what their Rebbi says. AA
