wat is the concept of liphnim mishurat hadin and when does it apply????

The Din is the Law. Lifnim Meshurat Hadin means beyond the requirement of the law. This is a form of Chassidut, extra credit. This is something we can work on once we have mastered the Din itself. That is the basis of the Sefer Mesilat Yesharim. AA
