various qs's: crock pot, names of G-d

Question

Hello Rabbi, MY questions: First, im wondering -what is the correct pronounciation of G-ds name when thereis a letter before it: ie Ba-donai OR Ba-ahdonai; similarly- Ladonai or La-a-donai etc [when there is a bet or lamed and then alef without vowel]; on a different note- al pi DIN -does a crock pot really require tin foil between the outer and inner pot or is it considered garuf and katum by itself since the heating element itself is really covered by metal ? do ineed to put a tape on the button [high,low,medium] or remove it or not? is a regular oven considered garuf and katum if it has no slits where the heating element can be seen ? can one do chazara to it ? thanks.

1) Normally, you do not pronounce the Aleph in these cases, although there are some exceptions, like in Tehilim #136 Pasuk #3 and other places (altogether about 24 times). 2) If you do not want to remove the pot and return it on Shabbat, nor to add water, then you do not need any "Blech." 3) Covering the button is not necessary, nor meaningful.
