VEAL

Question

I just heard from someone that in reference to veal, the animals are only fed from birth "bassar v'chalav d'oreisah". Are we allowed to eat veal now?

My research shows that this is not the norm. Most are fed milk. Some are fed "milk replacers," to save some money. Most of those milk replacers are from Soy. AA
