In reference to the vegeterian restaurant, it is the same as any other restaurant. CYA We have heard otherwise from AA

where CYA AA has told us that you can trust people who are strict vegetarians that they won't put meat in a product (of course, you must be concerned with bishul akum) see e.g.,
