Warming Foods On Shabbos

I'm getting a little confused regarding warming food on Shabbos. Questions: 1. Can you place cooked foods on top of a covered crock pot? 2. Can you place cooked foods on a foil covered blech, or on an upside down pot on the blech? 3. Does it make a difference if the food is cold? Thanks.

1. Yes 2. If normally there is no silver foil then yes and upside down pot, yes. 3. No THIS IS ONLY ON SOLIDS NOT LIQUIDS Liquids can only be placed in these ways if it will not reach Yad Soldes Bo. Thank you for specifying the question! CYA
