Watermelon

Question

What should one do with the pits of a watermelon on Shabbat. Can you remove them before putting the piece in your mouth?

Any pits on the surface can be removed, just like you can remove a peel. If the pit is inside, cut the watermelon and then the pit will be at that surface & you can remove it. AA
