There is a whole controversy brewing in regards to wigs that the hair comes from india.They say that the women sacrifices her hair to the idol by cutting it off,it is then used to for commercial purposes such as womens wigs.Rabbi Moshe Shternbuch has come out real strongly against it . Can you please let me know if this is a problem or not . Is it permissable for pregnant women to get a manicure at beauty parlor ,since there are many nails alll over the place, or can you rely on the fact that they are not in the original place where they were cut . 1) Until there is some actual proof, I would ignore it. Instead of studying Torah and doing the Mitzvot, many people spend their days developing these type rumours. 2) Don't step on them. I assume that they clean there. AA
