Women and Kiddush/Ha'Motzei

Question

1) Can a woman say Kiddush on Shabbat for men? If the men answer Amen are they yotsei the mitzvah of kiddush? 2) Same question for hamotzei. 3) If not, what should I do at someone's Shabbat table when this happens as to not cause embarrassment or a scene?
