Women lighting Menorah

Question

What's the story with women and lighting the menora?? Can they? Should They? Why? I would think that since its a mitzvas asei shehazman grama, that they are not m'chayiv in it. But can they? I don't know if I should compare it to a woman putting on tefilin, or a woman davening...
