Kvod Harav. I've got some serious pimples and my doctor proscribed medicine for them (it is a completely cosmetic concern). May I take this medicine on shabbos/yom tov/yom tov sheni? How does Torah Law view taking care of one's looks. Please tell me places i could look - that way when people make fun of me washing my face i could snap back "i guess you would also make fun of _____ ," or "you never learned what ____ has to say". Thank you for your help. Also, what does torah say about making fun of people after they made fun of you?

Answered by Aaron AbadiYou can skip Shabbat & the first day of Yom Tov (holiday). Look in Gemara Shabbat 50B regarding Rechiza. AA ......................... Please inform the person who posted the above message that I beleive the medicine he takes is taken once a day and he can take it at night. then, he can take it right before shabbat and right after it is done. only two day yom tov would be a problem. jacob
