Question

1. What if you take a baby to the emergency room on Friday night -- how are you supposed to get home afterwards. 2. If it is Yom Tov (not Shabbat) and they send you home from a hospital, can you have them call you a cab (or can you do it yourself)? What do you do about payment?

1) If the baby stays in the hospital, the baby will be fine. If they will absolutely not let you stay, then the baby and one adult can go home by non-Jewish Taxi. Or to the nearest place where the baby will be safe. 2) Yes, if it is within the Techum (distance from the city allowed by law). Have the driver come in the house and take it out of your wallet. AA
