Question
Your mother says te berakah and then turns on the light and then ligths the candle -- so when does Shabbat start? I thought once she turned on the light that's it, and she would not be able to light the candles?

Answered by Chaim Yisrael AbadiWhy is she allowed to turn on the the light after the Beracha? Because, she is not being mekabel Shabbos till after she turns on the light and the same things goes till after she lights the candles. CYA
