Gym
Question
Kavod HaRav- I am a little unsure regarding how women must dress when at the gym. Because it is the "minhag" and accepted way to wear short sleeved t-shirts and pants (obviously not tight- lets say sweatpants and a shirt above one's elbow, but not too tight or too loose), is that allowed? Also, if one has the option of working out in the women's section or in the co-ed section, but the women's section has less machines, and the machines that it does have, are older ones, is it permitted to go to the co-ed section? Thank you, and Yashar Kochacha on this great site!
Answer
Answered by Aaron Abadiin the women's section you can dress any way you like. In front of men your sleeves must go to the elbows & your pants should reach your ankles. I know it's hard. Sorry. I didn't make up the rules. This part is fixed, not set by Minhag (custom). AA
