ice cream shop

thank you for this web site. In my neighbrohood we have an ices and custard shop. It use to be under our local vaads hashgacha. The owner was not jewish and then sold it to a jew. The new jewish owner would not close on shabbat so the vaad would not give him hashgacha. -fyi there is another ices store like this further away from me with hashgacha from one of the vaad rabbis- same ingredients.(the shop in question is also a franchise which usuallly means all the stores are the same.) Am I allowed to go to my neighbrohood ices and custard store eventhough none of the orthodox people in my area will go. (the ingriedents are all kosher) fyi- our grocery store is owned by a jew -open on shabbat we all shop there. I understand that a vaad doesn't want to give hashgacha to a place that is open on shabbat. But does this mean i can't take my kids for ices and custard.-we live out of new york and we do not have to many kosher places.-thank you so much.
