Question

If Rav Abadi is not my rav, and I don't follow his halakhic decisions, is there anyting wrong with eating food that he says is kosher (if it doesn't have gelatin). After all, I buy OU and OK products and I don't know the rabbi that is behind them and what his views on Shabbat etc. are.
