Our food for Pesah
Question
Over the past decade or so I remembering hearing the following tales around Pesah time from "Chief Rabbinates": All rice is hames because it contains wheat starch vitamins All tumeric has wheat in it and therefore cannot be used for Pesah All dates have oat or wheat starch in them and cannot be used for Pesah All camoon has hames in it and cannot be used for Pesah Hot peppers cannot be used for Pesah dried because they absorb the hames from the packing plant and fresh because they are waxed with animal fats and hames waxes. All beans and peas whether dried or frozen are packed in facilities which also pack pasta and therefore cannot be used for Pesah. Do anyone else see a pattern here????? Thank you Rabbis Abadi, we are grateful for everything you are doing to preserve our Torah u'Mesorah!!!!!! Hag Kasher v'Sameah!!!!!!
Answer
Answered by Aaron AbadiYou forgot the main part of that speach. "You can only buy products under our supervision." (Which incidentally costs double). Chag Same'ah! (Kasher, I leave in your hands). AA
